Research Areas: The primary focus of my research is in biometric data indexing. My research have spanned many areas within biometric based identification, including quality evaluation of biometric samples. Some of the broad areas of my research are as follows:
Biometric Feature Extraction
Biometric feature extraction is the process by which key features of the sample are selected or enhanced.
Biometric Quality Evaluation
Quality of a biometric data is a measure of its efficiency in aiding recognition of an individual.
Biometric Data Indexing
Indexing of biometric data is required to facilitate fast search in large-scale biometric systems.
